OnePlus may be gearing up to launch another smartphone powered by a massive 9,000mAh battery, just a day after unveiling the OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V in China.
A new leak from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station claims that a premium performance-focused device featuring MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500 SoC is currently undergoing internal testing. The handset is believed to be a new OnePlus model, possibly the rumored OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra (also referred to as Ace 6 Ultra in early speculation).
According to the tipster, the phone could pack a 6.78-inch flat LTPS display with 1.5K resolution and an impressive 165Hz refresh rate. Additional highlights include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a battery rated at 9,000mAh or higher.
The leak further suggests that the device will offer custom-tuned performance optimizations along with several exclusive features designed to boost speed and efficiency. While exact details remain unclear, more information is expected to emerge in the coming days as testing progresses.
For now, OnePlus appears to be pushing battery capacity and high-end performance in its next flagship push, signaling another entry into the ultra-powerful smartphone segment.
