Samsung Galaxy S26 Launch Date and Pre-Order Schedule Leaked Ahead of Galaxy Unpacked Event

Samsung is reportedly gearing up to unveil its next-generation flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S26 series, with a launch timeline now tipped ahead of the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. According to fresh leaks, the South Korean tech giant may introduce the Galaxy S26 lineup in the last week of February.

Popular tipster Ice Universe shared on X that Samsung could host its Galaxy Unpacked event on January 25, where the company is expected to officially reveal the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Shortly after the announcement, pre-orders for the new models are likely to go live.

As per the leaked schedule, Samsung may open pre-orders between February 26 and March 4, followed by a pre-sale window from March 5 to March 10. The Galaxy S26 series is expected to go on open sale starting March 11. However, this timeline is said to apply primarily to South Korea, with slight variations possible for India and other global markets.

This information appears to corroborate earlier claims by tipster Evan Blass, who previously stated that rumours pointing to a February 25 launch were “100% correct.” Similar details had also surfaced in a report from November 2025, further strengthening the credibility of the leak.

If the leaked timeline holds true, Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event would take place later than usual. Traditionally, the company announces its Galaxy S-series flagships earlier in the year, followed by its foldable lineup around July. Reports suggest that the revised schedule could be due to internal “product lineup adjustments.”

While Samsung has not officially confirmed any details yet, expectations are high as the Galaxy S26 series is anticipated to bring notable upgrades across performance, camera technology, and AI-powered features.
