Honor’s Global Push Pays Off with 71M Smartphones Shipped in 2025

Honor achieved its strongest year yet in 2025, shipping a record 71 million smartphones, including 10 million flagship devices. The company’s expansion beyond China emerged as a defining milestone, with 50% of total smartphone sales coming from international markets. Honor credited much of this momentum to the Magic7 series, which served as a core driver of growth.

The brand sustained its upward trajectory from 2024, posting 50% year-over-year shipment growth. Honor also confirmed that it now commands 10% or greater market share in 17 countries, with notable presence across Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. In Malaysia, the company has risen to become the top smartphone vendor, holding over 18% of the phone market and leading the tablet segment with 30% share. Honor also reported 30% tablet share domestically and more than 30% of the Malaysian tablet market, reinforcing its strength beyond mobile phones.

Looking ahead, Honor is accelerating its investment in artificial intelligence through its Honor Alpha strategy, pledging over $10 billion in AI product development over the next five years. While smartphones will remain the centerpiece of its ecosystem, the initiative will also expand into AI-enhanced laptops, tablets, wearables, and smart devices.

With global adoption rising and AI innovation at the forefront, Honor aims to position itself as a key player in the next wave of intelligent consumer technology.
